It was the first California mission to be built and is located at 32.47_072 N Lat. / 117.06_372 W / Long. It was constructed in 1769 By Father Junipero Serra. The parking lot to the current misson overlays were the foreground stone wall once stood. The parking lot area can be seen in the current view of the mission
