The schoolhouse located at the Center is a replica of a typical one roon school house built in the Southeastern United States during the 19th Century. Built in 1991, with help from volunteers, Center Staff memebers and the Escambia County School District, the building is constructed with 1 foot square logs. Many of the items in the school were donated from individuals and the T.T. Wentworth Museum |
