| The photo was made by Cary C. Ward Sr., the son of the man in the photo is James Oscar Elijah Ward, son of William Samuel Ward. James Oscar went to this school for secretarial skills but found out he could spell so was asked to leave. Their farm was in "Wardville" on Highway 4 east of Davisville.
