The tour will consist of visiting each of the rooms in the house and reading about the activities that occurred there. The information is the same as if you were visiting in person. At each room you can also view a movie. You must have apple's Quicktime plug-in, in your browser- without it you will not be able to view the movies or participate in any interactivities . Movies consist of two types, a regular Quicktime motion picture or a Quicktime Virtual Reality (QTVR). Rooms with QTVR will have a photograph embedded on the page. If you place your cursor on top of the photograph, it will change to a "bull's eye"-this is a QTVR movie.

QTVRs allow you to look at a room as if you were standing there. To look around the rooms with QTVR, place the cursor on the movie, click and hold the mouse button down and drag the mouse to the left or right. The movie will swing left or right giving you a view of different parts of the room.

As you scroll through a QTVR movie, the cursor may change to a double thick arrow. This means that part of the photo has a clickable link and if clicked will take you to another place on the site.
